Jumhouria Bank Commences Transferring Money to Expatriates

The Assistant Director-General for Local Operations Affairs, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Hajjaj confirmed that the Jumhouria Bank has initiated in transferring funds in hard currency to expatriates who are employed in public sectors, in addition to expatriates who have valid contracts.

Mr. Alhajjaj added that the transfers will be for the time period from 2016 to 2018. For the public sector employees, half of the salary will be transferred in Libyan dinars. As for the private sector, the transfer is limited to employees in the health sector only, with a value equivalent to $1375 per month for each transfer.

It is noteworthy to mention that the new exchange rate for transactions will be implemented from the date of 1st/Sep/2018.
