A meeting was held on January 29th, 2021 in the Tunisian capital, which included the Deputy General Manager of the Jumhouria Bank, Mr. Nuri Abuflija, and representatives of Finox

During the meeting, the mechanism for implementing the banking system development project was discussed as part of the bank's efforts to develop and update the work systems to improve the level of banking services provided to the customers, and to keep pace with the development  of the banking industry

The deputy general manager of the bank, Mr. Nuri AbuFlija confirmed that the launch of the project to upgrade the banking system, "Flex Cube" from its currently operating version to the modern version (14.3) will start as of 14/2/2021 according to the implementation plan agreed upon between the bank and the executing company. The system will be launched during the first quarter of 2022

Abuflija stated that the process of installing the system will be carried out by the company (Vitonex), a leader in this field

He added that this project was scheduled to start during the first quarter of 2020, unfortunately, the work on it was brought to a halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic
