Jumhouria Bank: The first Libyan bank to win the membership of AAOIFI

Jumhouria Bank Management always seek to keep pace with all the development in the Islamic banking industry, which is organized by a group of international and regional institutions.
Jumhouria Bank has recently been awarded the membership of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions(AAOIFI) as an associate member, as well as a group of Islamic banks and financial institutions, Jumhouria Bank is officially considered the first Libyan bank to receive this membership from the AAOIFI, which issues Shariah and accounting standards that regulate the work of Islamic banks.
In a related context, Jumhouria Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Research and Training Institute, a member of the Islamic Development Bank. This step comes as a continuation of the efforts exerted in the process of transformation as an Islamic bank, by this Jumhouria Bank is now a member in the General Council for Isalic Banks and financial institutions CIBAFI.
