The first edition of the Jumhouria Bank Regions League has come to an end. The league fixtures were played on the grounds of the former College of Girls, with the participation of seven teams from various branches of the Jumhouria Bank.
The "General Management" team crowned the league title after their victory in the final match against the “Tripoli Region” team 3-0.
The final ceremony of the league was marked by a festive event, which was attended by the General Manager, Mr. Abdelrazag Eltarhouni, several Jumhouria Bank officials, a number of sports lovers, and the fans of the participating teams in the league.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Abdelrazag Eltarhouni stressed that sport in general and football in particular is considered a national phenomenon that must be consolidated, emphasizing the necessity of encouraging the Jumhouria Bank employees to participate constantly.
Mr. Eltarhouni assured the General Management’s keenness to establish and organize such activities on a regular basis, to encourage the Jumhouria Bank Employees to practice sports, moreover, to discover new talents. The General Manager expressed his happiness with the success of the first edition of the tournament and the honouring ceremony, he also expressed his gratitude to all the attendees, the organizing committee, the referees committee, the media, and everyone who contributed to the success of the league.
The final ceremony honoured the winning teams with cups and medals.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Jumhouria Bank League started on 10th/July/ 2022, with the participation of all Jumhouria Bank branches.
