Jumhouria Bank Introduces Arra'id Card and POS Services in Al-Jufra

The Head of the Marketing Department at the Jumhouria Bank confirmed
that the bank has launched the Arra'id card with a number of 18,000 cards intended
for the southern area, and is currently being marketed to customers in the
Jumhouria Bank branches that operate outside the unified banking system. Arra'id
card is a prepaid card available in different rates (1000 dinars, 1500 Dinars,
2000 dinars).
The Head of the Marketing Department indicated that the number of Points
of Sale in the southern area has reached 35, in addition to 85 others under
procedure, the number is expected to rise after providing the area with the
appropriate technical environment, which falls among the priorities of the Senior
management’s plans during the year 2019.
The marketing team conducted a field visit last week to the areas of
Sabha, Bergen, Wadi Utbah, and Brak Al-Shati. During this visit, new contracts
were signed for the POS (Point of Sale) service, which included several business
occupations such as clothing, Groceries, and pharmacies.
The team also visited Al-Jufra area, where they observed all the
technical and technological conditions and paid attention to the merchants'
notes, in order to work on providing points of sale in the areas of Weddan,
Houn, and Soukna in the upcoming period.
