Workshop on “Controls and Procedures Approved by the Bank for Opening Current Accounts for Customers”

As part of the awareness and training activities to qualify the bank's personnel, a workshop was organized on Monday, 31^st/July/2023, on "the Controls and Procedures Approved by the Bank for Opening Current Accounts for Customers".

The workshop was organized with direct follow-up from the General Administration and the Inspection Office, in coordination with the HR Development Department, in order to raise awareness among the personnel and increase their experience, with the participation of a number of branch managers in the eastern region and employees specialized in opening current accounts.

The workshop, which is scheduled for two days, aims to update and correct the conditions of old accounts, in implementation of what was stated in the circular of the Assistant General Manager for Banking Operations.

The Director of the Inspection Office, "Dr. Abdel-Fattah Arhuma," stated that this workshop comes within the framework of raising the efficiency of managers and personnel and developing their capabilities and skills in implementing the controls and procedures approved by the bank for opening current accounts for customers.

The participants stressed the importance of the information that was presented during the workshop, assuring their readiness to apply it in the field of their banking work in order to improve the services provided to the customers.

It is worth noting that more than 300 employees from various regions and branches of the bank have been trained, and work is underway to set up a workshop in the southern region, specifically, the city of Sebha.
